Qualified for NCAA Championships... went 2-2 at the tournament... finished 20-9 overall and 8-5 in duals with five bonus points matches... earned seven total ranked wins... earned unanimous first-team All-Ivy honors... ...took second at EWIAs.... took second at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite...

2022-23 I FRESHMAN SEASON
The 2023 EIWA runner-up reached the Round of 12 at his first NCAA Championship ... recorded a 20-13 overall record ... named honorable mention All-Ivy League ... opened his career with a 3-2 mark at the Bearcat Open ... claimed seventh place at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational with a win over 11th-ranked Malik Heinselman of Ohio State ... three of his losses were to eventual NCAA champion Patrick Glory of Princeton, including in a narrow 2-0 contest in the EIWA final ... won 12 of his matches against nationally ranked foes.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Ungar won state titles in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania during his prep career ... had a 143-5 career record despite missing a season due to COVID-19 and a half-season due to injury ... captured a state title at 120 pounds as a senior at Notre Dame Green Pond HS ... two-time district and regional title winner in Pennsylvania ... posted a 60-3 overall record his final two seasons with 19 wins by fall and 18 more by tech fall ... claimed a New Jersey state title as a sophomore at Hunterdon Central HS ... ranked among the nation's top 40 recruits by FloWrestling.
