Biography

At Cornell
2008-09: Did not compete. 

2007-08: In his second season with the Big Red, Landers posted a 3-2 record. At the New York State Championships, he placed seventh at 197 pounds.

2006-07: Landers opened his rookie season at the Southern Scuffle where he pinned his first opponent, David Russell of George Mason, in 1:13 before losing his next two bouts to be knocked out of the tournament. Landers wrestled for the Big Red at 197 pounds at the National Duals and the New York State Championships where he placed eighth.

Prior to Cornell
Landers was the district champion his sophomore and senior years. His junior year he was third at the Virginia state championships. He was a two-time captain of his wrestling team and also served as captain of his football team his senior year.

Personal
Carl Landers is the son of Rod and Michelle Landers. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
