At Cornell
O'Malley went 1-8 during his first season, seeing action at the Binghamton Open, the New York State Intercollegiate championships, the Lock Haven Tournament and the Edinboro Open. He picked up his first collegiate win with an 8-3 victory over Joseph Löbb of Ithaca at the New York State meet.

Prior to Cornell
O’Malley is a four-time letter winner and starter for Smithtown HS East and was team captain his junior and senior seasons. He was a three-time league finalist and two-time league champion. He was fourth in Section 11 in 2012 and finished his high school career with 97 wins. He was a member of the National Honor Society and Italian Honor Society. O’Malley also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.

Personal
Casey Robert O’Malley is the son of Sean and Christina O’Malley. He has a younger brother and sister. O’Malley is majoring in industrial and labor relations.
