AT CORNELL
Boykin joined the Big Red staff in April 2024 after spending two seasons at the United States Air Force Academy. In the 2025 season, Boykin assisted the Big Red in their first Ivy League Tournament Title with five Ivy champions and 10 NCAA qualifiers for the second consecutive season earning Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Boykin spent time in Ithaca from 2019-22 as the head coach of the Spartan Regional Training Center. In that role, he coached several current and former Cornell wrestlers, including four-time NCAA qualifier

At Air Force, Boykin had a crucial role in the development of Wyatt Hendrickson, one of the best heavyweight wrestlers in the nation. Hendrickson earned All-American status twice and won two Big 12 Tournament titles with Boykin as his coach.
Boykin began his coaching career in 2018 as a volunteer assistant at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, where he wrestled from 2013-18. He qualified for the NCAA Championships three times and won two Southern Conference titles.
