PRIOR TO CORNELL

Aranda is a 2024 graduate of Lake Highland Preparatory School in Orlando, Fla., where he competed for the wrestling team after spending his early high school years at DeKalb High School in Illinois. A decorated prep wrestler, Aranda earned All-America honors at both the NHSCA Nationals in 2023 (fourth place) and 2024 (third place), as well as at the USA National Recruiting Showcase in 2023. He also placed fifth at the IWCOA Illinois State Championships in 2021 and fourth at the IHSA State Championships in 2022. Additionally, he finished third at the Illinois Freestyle State Championships in 2022.

He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell, pursuing a major in Economics.
