As a senior (2016-17)
• Was 4-5 with a pair of wins by fall at 141 pounds.
• Made the finals in the open division of the New York State championships, winning four straight before falling to teammate Trence Gillem in sudden victory.
• Also wrestled in the Bearcat Open and the Edinboro Open.

As a junior (2015-16)
• Posted a 5-6 season while competing at 141 pounds.
• Wrestled at the Binghamton Open, the New York State Intercollegiates and the Southern Scuffle.
• Placed fourth in the B Division at the New York States, winning his first three matches.
• Went 2-2 at Binghamton.

As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Bienstock was 4-3 as a sophomore while competing in a pair of open tournaments.
• Was 2-1 at the National Collegiate Open after posting a 2-2 at the Lock Haven Mat Town Open while wrestling at 141.

As a freshman (2013-14)
• Bienstock went 6-6 during his freshman year with two of his wins earning the team bonus points.
• He competed in the Jonathan Kaloust Binghamton Open, the New York State Intercollegiates and the Southern Scuffle, winning at least one bout at each of the three tournaments.
• He went 3-2 at the New York State meet in the B draw at 141 pounds.

Prior to Cornell
• Was a four-time state place-winner at Quince Orchard HS.
• Finished with a 40-2 record as a senior.
• Won 143 career matches to set a school record.
• Became first wrestler in school history to win four regional titles.

Personal
• Eli Benjamin Bienstock is the son of Steve Bienstock and has an older brother and sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
