As a junior (2015-16)
• Went 6-3 on the season at 197 pounds, including winning five of his final six matches.
• Competed at the Binghamton Open, New York State Intercollegiates and the Brockport Invitational.
• Placed third at Brockport, winning two matches by first period falls and a third by tech fall.
• Was fourth in the B Division at 197 pounds at the New York States.
• Went 1-2 at Binghamton to open the year.

As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Choi posted a 3-6 record while competing in three tournaments during his sophomore campaign.
• Finished sixth in the B Division at the New York State Intercollegiates, including three consecutive wins in the back draw to get back to the fifth-place match.
• Also wrestled at the Binghamton Open and the Lock Haven Mat Town Open.

As a freshman (2013-14)
• Choi went 6-7 during his freshman year, earning three bonus point wins along the way while seeing action in four tournaments.
• Choi opened the season at 184 pounds, wrestling at the Binghamton Open at that weight, before bumping up to 197 pounds while competing at the New York State Intercollegiates, the Lock Haven Mat Town Open and the Millersville Open.
• He went 4-1 to place third in the B bracket at 197 pounds at the New York State meet and knocked off wrestlers from Army and Virginia Tech at Millersville.
