2024-25 | SENIOR SEASON
Qualified for the NCAA Tournament… went 2-2 at the tournament… Second Team All-Ivy… went 19-10 overall with a pin at the national championship… beat #30 J. Vasquez (Arizona State) by decision at Cliff Keen Invitational… beat #31 K. Buesgens (NC State) by decision at Cornell’s home opener… beat #17 T. Whalen (Princeton) at the Ivy League Championships… earned double-digit bonus victories (10).

2023-24 | JUNIOR SEASON
Qualified for NCAAs for the first time in his career… went 1-2 at the tournament… won his first EIWA title… earned first-team All-Ivy honors… finished 24-9 overall… went 5-0 in duals against Ivy opponents

2022-23 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Was 9-4 on the season while weighing in at 133 and 141 pounds ... was 4-0 at the season-opening Bearcat Open, part of a 6-0 start ... knocked off a pair of ranked opponents at Binghamton ... was 2-0 at the Mat Town Open ... suffered three losses to ranked opponents ... was 2-2 in Ivy League dual meet competition.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Took fourth at the state championships as a junior and senior at Westwood Regional HS ... three-time district champion and the school's all-time wins leader ... won a regional title as a junior and took third in both 2018 and 2020 ... served as captain his senior year ... two-time Fargo National Greco All-American, grabbing sixth in 2019 and fourth in 2021.

Ethan Chase Fernandez is the son of Tracie Fried and has two older brothers ... he is enrolled in the College of Architecture, Art and Planning.
