Posted a 4-1 record while wrestling at 157 pounds… won all four of those matches at the Mat Town Open in November

2022-23 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Had a 4-4 record on the season at 157 pounds ... was 3-0 at the Bearcat Open ... represented Cornell at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, earning a win in the back draw against Logan Ours of Wyoming ... also wrestled in duals against North Carolina, Arizona State and Virginia Tech.

2021-22 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Was 3-1 on the season at 157 pounds, wrestling at the season-opening Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open ... won his first two collegiate contests, falling only to EIWA runner-up and NCAA qualifier Andrew Cerniglia of Navy.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Was a two-time state finalist and 2020 state champion while wrestling at Bald Eagle Area HS ... three-time state place-winner, taking seventh as a freshman, second as a sophomore and first as a senior, missing his junior season due to injury ... posted a 107-14 career record ... ranked No. 16 in the country as a senior at his weight class ... was a three-time all-state safety in football ... set the school's all-time all-purpose yardage record with 4,047 yards as a wide receiver and returner.

Gage William McClenahan is the son of David McClenahan and Cari Clouser and has two older brothers and two older sisters ... he is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
