Biography

At Cornell
2009-10: Kocher went 4-4 at 197 pounds as a sophomore in 2010, including winning two matches by fall. He won his first two matches at the Body Bar Invitational and also won two matches at the Southern Scuffle.

Prior to Cornell
Kocher transferred to Cornell from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he won the Edinboro Open as a freshman. At Bergen Catholic HS, he was a two-time captain. Kocher was a four-time district champion, region champ and named all-county. He went 36-3 his senior year, recording 28 pins. 

Personal
George K. Kocher is the son of Richard and Fulda Kocher. Majoring in developmental sociology, he is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
