2024-25 | SENIOR SEASON
Went 8-1 overall… competed at the Journeyman Classic and Big Red Invitational… missed end of season due to injury.

2023-24 | JUNIOR SEASON
Posted a 3-0 record in duals while going 16-3 overall…. went 4-0 at the Mat Town Open in November and at the Bobby Kauffman Open in January… beat #22 Kysen Terukina (Iowa State) by fall at the National Collegiate Duals… took down #27 Diego Sotelo (Harvard) by major decision in Cornell’s dual win over the Crimson

2022-23 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Missed the entire season due to injury.

2021-22 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Went 12-6 overall with a 4-1 record in duals and 2-0 mark against Ivy League opposition ... won two of his matches by fall and one by major decision, earning three bonus point wins ... placed second in the Bearcat Open and seventh in the Southern Scuffle ... wrestled two ranked opponents throughout the season ... closed the season with five consecutive victories ... three of his six losses came to NCAA qualifiers.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Five-time New York state champion ... fourth five-time New York state champion, joining Troy Nickerson '10, Jacori Teemer and Adam Busiello ... first wrestler in Section V to win five state titles ... named Most Outstanding Wrestler twice at New York State Championships ... owned a 219-2 career record in NYSPHSAA matches.

Gregory Diakomihalis is the son of Gina and Ilias Diakomihalis and has three brothers ... older brother, Yianni, was a four-time NCAA champion for the Big Red ...he is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
