• Posted an 11-5 record at 197 pounds with eight bonus wins.
• Wrestled for the Big Red in its Ivy League dual win against Columbia, picking up a major decision win.
• Placed third at the Binghamton Open and fourth at the New York State championships.
• Completed at the Southern Scuffle, winning his first two matches.
• Four of his five losses came to NCAA qualifiers.

As a freshman (2015-16)
• Went 11-3 as a freshman at 197 pounds.
• Won eight matches with bonus points, including five wins by pin.
• Won the New York State Intercollegiate B Division title with four straight wins, including a pair of falls and a major decision.
• Won the Brockport Invitational and the Shorty Hitchcock Invitational.
• Also competed in the Binghamton Open, going 0-2.
• Earned his first dual meet start against Columbia at heavyweight.

Prior to Cornell
• Anderson was a national prep champion at 220 pounds while attending Malvern Preparatory School.
• A team captain as a senior, he was named team MVP.
• Placed seventh at national preps as a junior.
• The three-sport star also played linebacker in football and was the No. 8 in rugby.
• Anderson was a second-team all-league selection on the gridiron and was part of a national runner-up squad in rugby.

Personal
• Jacob Thomas Anderson is the son of Tim ‘89 and Donna ’89 Anderson and has an older brother and sister.
• His parents both attended Cornell.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
