2022-23 I SENIOR SEASON
Was 7-4 with two losses by injury default before missing the remainder of the season ... went 7-1 to kick off the season with an injury default loss ... won the season-opening Bearcat Open with four consecutive wins ... earned dual meet wins against Wisconsin, Brown and Harvard.
2021-22 I JUNIOR SEASON
NCAA All-American after finishing eighth at 184 pounds ... posted a team-high 30 wins (30-7) and 11 bonus point victories ... 2022 EIWA Champion to earn the automatic bid to NCAAs ... unanimous first-team All-Ivy League selection ... his 14 victories against ranked opponents were second on the team (Yianni Diakomihalis - 15) ... all seven losses were to NCAA qualifiers ... finalist at the Southern Scuffle, third at Las Vegas Invite and winner of the Bearcat Open ... posted a 13-match win streak that included 3-0 against Ivy opponents.
2020-21 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 I FRESHMAN SEASON
NCAA qualifier at 184 pounds as an at-large selection ... went 26-13 as a freshman, wrestling at both 197 and 184 pounds ... placed fifth at the EIWA Championships with a 4-2 record ... won 11 matches by decision and 14 by bonus points, with six falls, four tech falls and four major decisions ... named second team All-Ivy League after finishing the year 4-1 against Ivy opponents ... named to the EIWA All-Academic team.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Loew won a state title as a senior at Wantagh HS ... claimed a NHSCA senior national title ... went 53-1 as a senior en route to a state title at 195 pounds ... earned all-state honors as a junior and was a two-time county champion ... was a six-year varsity starter, captaining the team as a junior and senior ... six-time all-league pick, including four times on the first team ... helped the team to a pair of state titles ... won more than 200 career matches.
PERSONAL
Jonathan Scott Loew is the son of Irwin and Maureen Loew and has two older brothers and an older sister ... he is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
