Qualified for NCAAs for the fourth year in a row… went 3-2 in the tournament… reached the Round of 12… was undefeated (13-0) leading up the tournament… First Team All-Ivy… Ivy League Champion at 165… finished the season 16-2 with four pins and three technical falls.

2023-24 | JUNIOR SEASON
Won his second straight EIWA title… qualified for NCAAs for the third year in a row… went 2-2 in the tournament… reached the Round of 12… earned unanimous first-team All-Ivy honors for the second time… took 2nd at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite… beat eventual national champion David Carr (Iowa State) in that tournament… finished the season 24-4… went 11-1 in duals

2022-23 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Won his first EIWA title and reached the Round of 12 at NCAAs for the second straight season ... unanimous first-team All-Ivy League selection after going 4-0 in dual meets ... posted a 27-5 mark with four losses against wrestlers ranked in the top seven ... twice defeated 2022 NCAA finalist Quincy Monday of Princeton, including in the EIWA finals ... won the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational title with three wins over ranked opponents ... posted a 14-match win streak entering the NCAA Championship ... 12 of his wins came vs. ranked foes.

2021-22 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Was 3-2 at the NCAA Championships, advancing to the Round of 12 ... took fourth at EIWAs to earn an automatic NCAA bid at 165 pounds ... took third at the Bearcat Open, fourth at the Las Vegas Invitational ... named honorable mention All-Ivy League after going 22-10 on the season .. had a seven-match win streak that included four victories over nationally ranked opponents ... pulled off one of the top upsets of the season when he knocked off No. 1 ranked and defending national champion Shane Griffith of Stanford in the team’s first dual meet.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Wrestled three years at Blair Academy in New Jersey after starting his high school career at Tampa Jesuit ... served as team captain at Blair in 2019 ... won team National Championships, 2017-19 ... posted a high school record of 143-10 .. two-time State Champion ... two-time National Prep Champion ... three-time Beast of the East Champion.

PERSONAL
Julian Ramirez is the son of Maylin Ramirez, and has two younger brothers ... he is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
