At Cornell
(2006-07): Bridge opened he junior campaign going 3-1 at the Body Bar Invitational to take fifth place at 133 pounds. With three wins by fall and a major decision, he also placed fifth at the New York State Championships. Bridge wrestled in five duals matches for the Big Red going 4-1.
(2005-06): Bridge wrestled at both 133 and 141 as a sophomore. He went 7-7 at 133, taking sixth place at the New York state championships.
(2004-05): Bridge was a versatile option in the lineup as a freshman, seeing action at 125 and 133 pounds, combining to go 6-3. Bridge earned a major decision victory in a dual match victory against Harvard and finished as runner-up at the Empire Open after being seeded No. 6 prior to the event.
Prior to Cornell
Bridge had a successful career at Absegami High School, capturing the state championship at 125 pounds as a senior after placing third and fifth during his junior and sophomore seasons, respectively. He was victorious in his final 32 matches and helped his team to a perfect 90-0 record in dual meets over the course of his career. Bridge was ranked third among all senior wrestlers from New Jersey by InterMat.
Personal
Nick John Bridge is the son of John and Michele Bridge, and he is enrolled in Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He has an older brother, Ryan, who wrestled for the Big Red.
