At Cornell
2008-09: Weiss wrestled for Cornell at 149 pounds at the Binghamton Open and Body Bar Invitational as a sophomore. He picked up his first collegiate win with an 8-3 decision over Middlesex’s Conway at the Binghamton Open.

2007-08: In his rookie season at Cornell, Weiss wrestled at the Brute Binghamton Open and Body Bar Invitational at 141 pounds.

Prior to Cornell
A four-time letter winner in wrestling, Weiss was a three-time all-league selection. He was captain of his team for two seasons, and was a two-time team MVP.  He was also a two-time Maryland state place winner, taking fourth and sixth. For Landon HS, Weiss played junior varsity lacrosse as a midfielder for two years, as well as running cross country, and was a flanker for rugby his senior year. An honor roll student, he was elected a prefect at his high school.

Personal
Harry Peter Weiss is the son of Jeffrey '79 and Christie Weiss. He has an older sister and two younger sisters. His sister, Teddy, plays squash for Vassar College. His great-grandfather, Bertram Weiss graduated from Cornell in 1909 and his grandfather, Donald Weiss, is a Cornell graduate as a part of the class of 1949. Weiss is enrolled in the College of Hotel Administration.
