As a junior (2016-17)
• Went 10-2 with seven wins by fall.
• Opened the season with 10 consecutive wins.
• Won the Brockport Open at 197 pounds and won both matches at the New York State Intercollegiates in the open division at 197 pounds.
• Was 4-2 at the Edinboro Open.

As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Posted a 9-3 record at 197 pounds as the team's primary backup.
• Won his only dual meet competition with a first period fall over Brandon Clark of Kutztown.
• Placed third at the Lock Haven Open after dropping his first round match, winning four straight in the back draw, including two wins by fall.
• Six of his nine wins came with bonus points with four falls.
• Also wrestled at the Nittany Lion Open, going 4-2.

As a freshman (2013-14)
• Congenie went 10-4 as the team’s primary backup at 197 pounds.
• He won three of his matches by fall and another by major decision.
• Congenie went 5-2 to place fourth in his weight class at the Binghamton Open, then won the B Bracket of the New York State Intercollegiates.
• He went 1-2 at the Southern Scuffle, winning a decision over North Carolina’s Frank Abbondanza.

Prior to Cornell
• Congenie was a two-time state champion who won a Junior National Folkstyle title as a senior.
• He won state crowns at 152 pounds as a sophomore and 171 pounds as a junior before missing his final season due to injury.
• Congenie won an ASICS USA Wrestling Folkstyle National Championship after his senior year, when he was a consensus top 100 national recruit as a senior.
