Biography

At Cornell

2007-08: In his third season with the Big Red, Ironman wrestled for Cornell at the Buffalo Open and Body Bar Invitational at157 pounds. At the Buffalo Open, he won by a 16-6 major decision over Jamestown’s Josh Rodriguez.


2006-07: Ironman wrestled for the Big Red at 149 pounds at the Big Red Invitational and moved up to 157 pounds for the New York State Championships. He recorded his first career win by fall at the New York State Championships to open the tournament.  

Prior to Cornell
Ironman won four letters while at Cardinal Gibbons HS. In 2005, he won the Broward County championship and was named to the County all-star team. He served as the team's captain as a senior. Ironman also placed first at the Sunshine State Games. He also was a three-time letter winner on the Cardinal Gibbons cross country team.

Personal:
Timothy James Ironman is the son of Paul and Felicia Ironman and has an older brother and an older sister. He is studying material science in Cornell's College of Engineering.
