2022-23 I SENIOR SEASON
Claimed his fourth NCAA title with a 4-2 victory over Ohio State's Sammy Sasso in the 149 pound finals ... completed a 21-1 season with his fourth consecutive All-America nod and EIWA title ... became a four-time Ivy League and EIWA Wrestler of the Year ... Hodge Trophy finalist ... won his final 21 career matches ... went 10-1 against ranked opponents ... was 5-0 during dual meet season against Ivy League wrestlers, earning unanimous first-team honors for the fourth time ... became the seventh Big Red wrestler with four EIWA titles, winning all four matches with bonus points attached, including topping Bucknell's Dylan Chappell in the finals, 15-3 ... was chosen as part of Sports Illustrated's "Faces In the Crowd" series following the NCAA Championship.

2021-22 I JUNIOR SEASON
Won his third NCAA title, capturing the 149-pound crown with an 11-5 win over Nebraska's Ridge Lovett in the finals ... became the school’s 12th three-time All-American ... captured his third EIWA title ... first-ever three time Ivy League Player of the Year and a unanimous first-team All-Ivy selection ... became the program’s 12th three-time EIWA champion with his 12-2 win over Penn’s Anthony Artalona in the finals ... outscored opponents 43-6 with a win by injury default in sprinting through the EIWA field ... won the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational with victories over two 2022 NCAA semifinalists (Sammy Sasso of Ohio State, Ridge Lovett of Nebraska) ... was a perfect 28-0 on the season, with 15 wins over nationally ranked opponents ... 16 of his 28 wins came by way of bonus points, including five by fall ... prior to stepping on the mat against Stanford on Nov. 20, Diakomihalis hadn’t wrestled in a Cornell singlet since winning his second NCAA title on March 23, 2019 — a span of 973 days.

2019-21 I JUNIOR SEASON
Diakomihalis took an Olympic redshirt season in 2019-29 ... the 2020-21 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2018-19 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
A finalist for the Hodge Trophy as the nation's most outstanding college wrestler, Diakomihalis capped off a 29-0 season with a 6-4 win over No. 2 seed Joey McKenna of Ohio State in sudden victory in the NCAA finals for his second straight national title ... named Ivy League and EIWA Wrestler of the Year ... was a unanimous first-team All-Ivy selection ... was chosen as the EIWA Most Outstanding Wrestler en route to his second Eastern crown ... he concluded his campaign with a 47-match win streak dating back to his freshman campaign ... 17 of his 29 wins came by way of bonus points, including seven by fall ... won the Lock Haven Open with three bonus point wins — a pair of wins by fall and a tech fall ... 11 of his wins came against nationally-ranked wrestlers ... was a perfect 13-0 in dual meets.

2017-18 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Diakomihalis won the NCAA title at 141 pounds to cap off a 37-1 rookie season ... he became just the second Big Red rookie to secure a national title, joining four-time NCAA champ Kyle Dake ... on the way to the title, Diakomihalis topped the two-time defending national champion at the weight (Oklahoma State's Dean Heil), avenged his only collegiate loss (Missouri's Jaydin Eierman) and knocked off the top seed and reigning national runner-up (Wyoming's Bryce Meredith) as the No. 3 seed ... the EIWA champion and the Ivy League Wrestler and Freshman of the Year, he was also named the Amateur Wrestling News Rookie Wrestler of the Year ... Diakomihalis won the Bearcat Open, New York State Intercollegiate, and Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite and closed his season with an 18-match win streak ... closed his season 12-1 against nationally ranked wrestlers, including a 4-2 sudden victory win over Meredith in the semifinals of the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational ... posted a perfect 18-0 record against wrestlers from EIWA schools this year and was 5-0 in Ivy League dual meet competition ... began his career with a 19-match win streak ... won 26 matches with accompanying bonus points, including nine by fall and eight more by tech fall.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
One of just seven four-time New York state champions while wrestling at Hilton HS ... closed his varsity career on a 210-match win streak, a state record, and a 243-3 career high school mark ... helped his team to four team state titles as a five-time captain ... was a four-time Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester Division I Wrestler of the Year ... state winner of the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award as a senior ... ranked among the top three recruits in the nation by every major service ... earned a pair of Cadet world championships and twp Asics All-America team slots ... joins Gable Steveson as the only Americans to win two cadet (ages 15 to 17) world championships.
