Allyssa Harrington is a Registered Dietitian, and Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist. Allyssa earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications/Sports Broadcasting from SUNY Fredonia, where she also earned a minor in Athletic Coaching. While at SUNY Fredonia, Allyssa was a 4-year varsity Track and Field Athlete, competing in sprints and hurdles. Allyssa went on to earn her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Marywood University (Scranton, PA), where she completed her Master’s Thesis on sports nutrition for adolescent athletes. After completing her dietetic internship through the Coordinated Program at Marywood, she worked as a clinical dietitian, as well as the sports dietitian for a local Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness center in Ithaca.
