At Cornell

In her first season on East Hill, Tamia Dockery was a member of the staff that was named Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year in 2024. That season the Big Red finished with an overall 14-10 record and 8-6 Ivy record, the best season since 2019, earning their first trip to the Ivy League Tournament since the Ivy League introduced a four-team single elimination tournament in 2022.

Prior to Cornell

During her one-year stint in New Orleans, Dockery helped the Privateers to its first Southland Conference Tournament victory in program history with a five-set marathon over the University of the Incarnate Word. Serving as the team's offensive coordinator, Dockery also coached Karen Cordero Barr, who earned Second Team All-Louisiana Honors after leading the team with 329 kills and 12 double-digit outings in 2023.

After graduating with a bachelor's in Sports Medicine in the spring of 2019, Dockery joined the Bison coaching staff as a volunteer under her former head coach Shaun Kupferberg, specializing in setter training and development. The Bison continued rolling during the season, going 20-13 overall and 14-1 in conference play, winning the MEAC Postseason Championship for the fifth consecutive time.
