Mack Lewnes are set to compete at the NWCA All-Star Classic Monday night in Columbus, Ohio. The event will be broadcast live by
Takedown Radio beginning at 6:30 p.m. The All-Star Classic will also air on tape delay on Dec. 4 at 10 p.m. on ESPNU.
The 43rd annual NWCA All-Star Classic is presented by the United State Marine Corps. The event is hosted by Ohio State and will be held in St. John Arena.
At 157 pounds, Leen will take on No. 7 Cyler Sanderson of Iowa State. Leen is 5-1 for the season and most recently defeated No. 2 Dan Vallimont of Penn State, 4-0.
Ranked No. 1 in the country, Lewnes will take on No. 4 Nick Marable of Missouri. Lewnes is 11-0 so far this season, and Marable brings a 2-1 record into the bout. Marable and Lewnes met twice last season, with the Missouri wrestler winning a slight 3-2 decision in both matches.
Note--The matches at the All-Star Classic are exhibition and do not count towards the wrestlers' records.
