ITHACA, N.Y. -- A trio of men's hockey road games for the 2008-09 season have had their start times changed to accommodate television. The games affected are the season opener at Princeton on Nov. 7, the game at Colgate on Nov. 13 and the Feb. 14 contest at Harvard.
The Big Red's regular season opener, originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. start time at Princeton, has instead been changed to a 4 p.m. start on the same date and will be seen live on ESPNU.
Cornell's game at Colgate is also slated to be televised, this time locally by Time Warner Sports, and has been moved from its original scheduled start time of 7 p.m. to a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.
Also changed is Cornell's annual game at Harvard, scheduled for Sat., Feb. 14, in Cambridge, Mass. The game, originally slated to begin at 7 p.m., has been moved to an 8 p.m. start time in order to have the game played live on CBS College Sports.
Other televised games on the currently on the schedule include both games at North Dakota, which will be seen on the Fighting Sioux Sports Network, along with Cornell's game at Union on Jan. 16, to be seen on Time Warner Sports, though those games will begin at their originally scheduled times.
