Men's Swimming Tops Dartmouth, Falls To Harvard

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Sophomore Michael Cai won three individual events in the Cornell men's swimming and diving season-opening meet against Harvard and Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon at Teagle Pool. Harvard knocked off the Big Red 177-123, with Cornell defeating Dartmouth 207-93. Harvard completed the sweep with a 237-63 victory over the Big Green.
Cai won the 100 (56.81) and 200 (2:04.22) breast and the 200 IM (1:52.40) to lead six Cornell individual wins. Michael Sheppard claimed the 1-meter dive (294.05), while Sasha Dobrolioubov (100 free in 46.77) and Dean Holcomb (200 fly in 1:50.05) also won events.
