NEW YORK, N.Y. – The fifth annual 21 Dinner, which annually celebrates the life and legacy of George Boiardi, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Bridgewaters, located at 11 Fulton Street in New York city. Registration for the event closes on Friday, Jan. 22 at 5 p.m.
Boiardi proudly wore the number 21 as a captain of the Cornell men’s lacrosse team. He was an accomplished student, athlete, and campus leader who was committed to joining Teach For America’s South Dakota corps upon graduation. All proceeds from this years’ dinner will benefit The Mario St. George Boiardi Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to empower the next generation through athletics and academics.
The 21 Dinner keynote remarks will be given by Cornell alumnus Michelle Rhee, Chancellor of the Washington, D.C. Public Schools. Once again, the evening will be emceed by ESPN reporter, author and Cornell alumnus, Jeremy Schaap.
