ITHACA, N.Y. -- The 2009 Cornell University Women's Athletics Golf Outing, scheduled for August 29, is now available for download at www.CornellBigRed.com. The third annual outing is the largest single event to highlight and fundraise for Cornell’s women’s sports programs. Play a round on Cornell’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, designed in 1954. Many of the female athletes whom your participation will benefit will be assisting with the event. Following the tournament, a dinner, prize distribution ceremony and an extensive raffle will be held at the club house. Thousands of dollars worth of high-quality prizes will be available.
The cost includes greens fees, golf carts, prizes, participant gifts and dinner. There will be prizes for top foursome, top female foursome, and second and third place foursomes in each category, longest drive, and nearest-to-the-pin. In addition to golf, sponsorships are also a great way to support our teams. All sponsorship gifts go directly to funding your team of choice.
