ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's and women's swimming and diving teams will enter the upcoming Eastern championships on a high after both teams earned Senior Day dual meet victories over Brown on Saturday afternoon at Teagle Pool. The men earned a 166-134 victory, while the women capped off its best dual meet season in a decade with a 160-135 win. The men finished with a 7-2 dual meet season (5-2 Ivy), while the women finished 3-6 (2-5 Ivy), tripling last season's win total.

The 200 medley relay team of Jake Sangren, Michael Cai, James Keady and Sasha Dobrolioubov got the swimming portion of the meet off to a good start with a strong 1:32.76 swim for first place, just .03 ahead of the Bears' top team.

THe women won their third dual meet of the season with a big afternoon from diver Alicia Butters, who won both the 1-meter (222.66) and 3-meter (242.62) competitions, and Emily Dean, who captured both backstroke events and was part of the pool record-setting 200 medley relay squad.
