WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Big Red heavyweight rowing team enjoyed more preferable weather conditions today as it swept George Washington and Georgetown at the 23rd annual George Washington University Invitational Regatta. The Big Red won all three races against both teams to earn the Oliver T. Carr Men's Heavyweight Eight Bowl, given to the team that wins the most varsity 8 races over the course of the regatta.
