The Big Red equestrian team traveled to Etna, N.H., over the weekend to compete in the Ivy League Championships. The team won the reserve championship title behind only Dartmouth, while finishing ahead of Brown, Yale, Princeton, Penn and Columbia.

Cornell had four individual Ivy League champions and three reserve champions. Individual winners were Katie Fink in intermediate flat, Emily Kowalchik in novice flat, Joan Kim in walk trot and Anne Elise Creamer in novice fences. Winning reserve championship titles were Caroline Rusk in intermediate fences, Emily Kowalchik in novice fences and Joelle Jach in walk trot canter.

Head coach Chris Mitchell was extremely pleased with the showing, especially since there are only spots for eight individual and eight reserve champions for the entire championships.
