ITHACA, N.Y. – Three Cornell women's rowers have been named to CRCA All Mid-Atlantic Region teams, while seven others have been named CRCA National Scholar-Athletes.

Erica Crump and Cecelia Madsen earned CRCA All Mid-Atlantic Region first-team honors, while Taylor Goetzinger was named to the second-team. Crump is a first-team selection for the second-straight season, while Madsen and Goetzinger are first-time honorees. To earn a spot on the all-region teams, the student-athletes are evaluated on the strength of their team's regional finish, coaches' recommendations and 2,000-meter erg score. Crump and Madsen will now be eligible for selection to an All-America team following the NCAA Rowing Championships.

Crump was also named a CRCA National Scholar-Athlete, along with Kara Achille, Judy Amsalem, Tracy Eisser, Jeannie Friedman, Kayleigh Kirk and Anna Psiaki. To be named a CRCA National Scholar-Athlete, the student-athlete must own at least a 3.5 GPA, must be at least a sophomore, and must have rowed in her institution's NCAA or IRA eligible boats for a minimum of 75% of the current spring races or raced in a regional conference event.
