ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell University will host the inaugural Ivy League Men's Lacrosse Tournament this weekend at Schoellkopf Field in Ithaca. The top-seeded Big Red will play in the second of two semifinal games on Friday night, facing fourth-seeded Brown in an 8 p.m. contest. The day begins with second-seeded Princeton battling third-seeded Yale in a 5 p.m. matchup in the first semifinal. The championship game will be played on Sunday at noon. GAME TICKETS
It is recommended that fans purchase tickets to Friday's semi-final games in advance in order to avoid long lines at the gates. Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.CornellBigRedTickets.com or by calling the Cornell Athletic Ticket Office at 607-254-BEAR, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Package tickets and family four-pack discounts are only available by phone or in person at the Box Office in Bartels Hall.

Tickets to Sunday's game will also be on sale by phone or in person at the Box Office and on-line through Sunday at 10 a.m.

The gates to Schoellkopf Field open at 4 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Sunday. Tickets may be purchased at the gates beginning at those times (cash only).

Please be advised, any Cornell issued VIP passes WILL NOT be valid for any of the tournament games.

PARKING
Parking for Friday's semifinals will be free in the Parking Garage adjacent to Schoellkopf Field beginning at 4 p.m. All other lots, excluding the upper C-lot which is located directly behind the Schoellkopf Field Crescent, will be free and open to the public beginning at 5 p.m.

Fans arriving prior to 4:00 p.m. on Friday should stop at an information booth upon entering campus to purchase a visitor parking permit or to be directed to a metered parking lot.

For Sunday's championship game, there will be a $5 per vehicle charge for parking in the Parking Garage adjacent to Schoellkopf Field. Garage parking permits ARE NOT available in advance.

TAILGATING
Tailgating will be allowed ONLY in the upper C-Lot, located directly behind the Schoellkopf Field Crescent. Tailgating permits are $10 per day and are available in advance by phone or in person from the Cornell ticket office. Tailgate permits will be sold at the entrance to the Crescent lot beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Sunday, while supplies last.
