PRINCETON, N.J. -- Nick D'Agostino's game-winner with 1:17 to play gave the Cornell men's hockey team a 2-1 victory at Princeton on Friday night in Princeton, N.J. Mike Garman chipped in with a career-best 39 saves in the victory for the Big Red.
Sean Collins scored a power-play goal in the second period for Cornell (5-8-1, 3-4 ECAC Hockey), while Mathieu Brisson picked up a pair of assists. Locke Jillson and Dustin Mowrey both added an assist on the night for the Big Red, which went 1-for-2 on the power play for the night.
For Princeton (10-6-1, 6-4-1 ECAC Hockey), Andrew Calof scored the only goal of the game, with Cam Ritchie picking up an assist. Sean Bonar made 21 saves on the night for the Tigers, which went scoreless in four power-play chances.

After a scoreless first period, Cornell got on the board midway through the second period on its first power play chance of the night. After the Big Red won the faceoff, Brisson sent a puck toward the goal that Collins redirected up and over the shoulder of Bonar that beat the freshman netminder inside the glove-side post.

The Big Red held onto the lead into the third period until an unlucky bounce led to a puck going into the goal off a skate with just 1:48 to play, but D'Agostino put the Big Red back on top just 31 seconds later. Brisson sent a pass from the center point toward the post for D'Agostino, who flipped a shot on goal that was stopped, but gathered his own rebound and backhanded a shot over the stick side of Bonar for the game-winner.
Cornell concludes the road trip on Saturday when it travels to Quinnipiac for a 7 p.m. contest at the TD Bank Sports Center in Hamden, Conn.
