ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell gymnastics team posted a season-high score of 193.100 on senior day to top Ivy foe Brown in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon at Teagle Gymnasium. Cornell had the top individual finisher and team score on all four events and set an individual school record. The Bears scored 190.925 as a team.

The Big Red had a huge day with a 48.925 on bars, the second highest team score in school history behind a 49.050 at the 2004 Ivy Classic meet. Four Cornell gymnasts scored a 9.750 or better, with teammates Bethany Neczypor and Melanie Jorgensen each scoring a 9.850.
