ITHACA, N.Y. -- With the Big Red capturing its second straight ECAC Hockey women's hockey championship, Cornell claimed all three of the final league weekly awards for the season, as senior Hayley Hughes, Jessica Campbell and Amanda Mazzotta were recognized for their efforts by the league's 12 coaches.

Hughes claimed her second league Player of the Week honor of the year, leading the Big Red in scoring during the semifinals and championship game with five points on three goals and two assists. She potted a pair of goals in the semifinal victory over Quinnipiac, including the game-winner, then assisted on Chelsea Karpenko's two goals and scored the third in the championship game victory over Dartmouth. Hughes was previously named the league's Player of the Week back on Nov. 9 after leading Cornell to a sweep of Dartmouth and Harvard.

Campbell, meanwhile, was a dangerous threat on the ice in just a half a game for the Big Red and earned Rookie of the Week honors for her efforts. She scored a goal in the semifinal win over Quinnipiac, then was injured and did not return, also missing the league championship game. Campbell was previously the league's top rookie on Oct. 26 after opening her career with a four-goal game against Robert Morris.

Mazzotta made her return from three months off due to injury and backstopped the Big Red to the league title for the second straight season to earn Goaltender of the Week honors. On Thursday against Quinnipiac, she allowed three goals on 24 shots in the victory, then posted a shutout in the championship game, making 14 saves in the win. This marks Mazzotta's fourth time this season earning the league's top goaltender award.

The Big Red returns to action on Saturday, playing host to Dartmouth in the NCAA Quarterfinals at Lynah Rink. Game time is 2 p.m.
