Final brackets
ITHACA, N.Y. — Junior
Spencer Clark and the doubles team of sophomores
Sam Fleck and
Quoc-Daniel Nguyen won titles Sunday at the Cornell Fall Invitational for men's tennis at Reis Tennis Center.
Clark extended his personal winning streak to 10 matches by winning the White Singles Flight title. He defeated Binghamton's Alexander Maisin in the finals, 6-1, 6-3, which gives Clark eight victories in straight sets during his current streak.
Like Clark, Fleck and Nguyen remain red hot after winning a bracket title for the second straight week. After sweeping through the A Doubles Flight of last weekend's Columbia Classic, Fleck and Nguyen wrapped up another crown this weekend with a 8-3 victory over Binghamton's Maisin and Eliott Hureau on Sunday. Fleck and Nguyen are now 7-0 in fall tournament play.
Fleck also competed in singles play Sunday, falling to Buffalo's Vusa Hove, 6-3, in the Red Singles Flight title match.
