ITHACA, N.Y. — Men's hockey fans can bid on special edition jerseys worn by the Big Red during the second period of its exciting 5-1 victory over Michigan on Nov. 24 in front of a sold-out crowd at Madision Square Garden in New York. The auction will run through Thursday, Dec. 6 on www.CornellBigRed.com. The final day of the auction will be held through email on Friday, Dec. 7.
All of the jerseys are professional weight, featuring a camouflage design with the familiar red Cornell stitched crest and stripes. The back features stitched players' numbers only (no nameplate).
Proceeds from this auction will go to The Wounded Warrior Project in conjunction with Hockey Helpers to assist wounded warriors who have sacrificed so much for our freedom as they transition back to civilian life. For more information, see
