PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Tiffany Chen (vault) and Melanie Standridge (beam) were individual event winners, but Brown was able to take down Cornell on Sunday afternoon in gymnastics action. The Bears claimed a 189.300-187.200 dual meet victory at the Pizzitola Sports Center.

The Big Red won team scores on vault and bars, but the Bears dominated on floor with a win by more than two full points to take control of the meet.

Chen took home the top spot with her 9.750 vault, with McKenna Archer finishing second with a 9.650. Standridge took home the beam with a 9.775, with Melanie Jorgensen finishing second with a 9.550.

Cornell's top scorer on floor was Mackenzie Sato (9.575), who placed tied for fifth overall. Alexis Schupp posted the team's highest score on bars with a 9.550, good for third at the meet.

The Big Red will head to Kent State for a dual meet on Sunday, March 18 at 1 p.m.
