ITHACA, N.Y. – Jason Noble and Roy Lang have been named USILA All-Americans, while Chris Langton was selected to represent the North in the USILA North/South Senior All-Star Game, when the teams were announced this afternoon. Noble and Lang are repeat All-American selections for the Big Red.

A junior defenseman from Orangeville, Ont., Noble was named to the All-America second-team after garnering an honorable mention selection a season ago. He was a first-team All-Ivy honoree after anchoring the 16th ranked defensive unit in the nation. Noble finished the season ranking eighth in the nation with 2.00 caused turnovers per game and ranked third on the team with 35 ground balls. A tenacious defender with outstanding stick skills, Noble also played on the wing during face-offs, and provided the Big Red with depth in the face-off circle as well, winning 13-of-32 restarts.

Lang, a first-team All-American a season ago, was named to the third-team following a senior campaign that saw him take on a larger role in the Big Red defensive and face-off units as a do-it-all midfielder. The Mill Valley, Calif. native is a two-time first-team All-Ivy selection and finished the 2012 season with 16 goals and six assists for 22 points. Lang also collected 23 ground balls and caused seven turnovers.

Langton was Cornell's lone selection to the North/South game, which will be played on Friday, May 25 at Harvard Stadium in Cambridge, Mass. A second-team All-Ivy selection, the Melrose, Mass. native ran on the Big Red's first offensive midfield and posted a career-high 18 goals during his senior season. One of the fastest and most athletic players in the Ivy League, he has also handed out two assists and picked up 19 ground balls. Of his 18 goals, two were man-up tallies and two were game-winners, including the overtime goal in Cornell's 9-8 victory over Denver.
