Results NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Sophomore
Mike Graboyes was tied for sixth place individually, and the golf team finished ninth in the 40th edition of the Macdonald Cup, which was hosted by Yale on Friday and Saturday.
Graboyes carded a 36-hole score of 4-over par 144 at The Course at Yale, which plays to 6,810 yards. He followed up a first-round 74 with an even-par 70 in the second round to finish five strokes behind medalist Jon DuToit, from Minnesota. It's Graboyes' third Top 10 in four tournaments this season — he won the Colgate Invitational in a playoff, then was tied for third two weeks later at the Cornell Invitational.
Cornell had a total of 609 to finish ninth among 13 teams. Harvard won the event (568), followed by Minnesota (580) and Fairfield (586). The Big Red finished fifth among the seven Ivy League teams in the field, ahead of Brown and Penn.

(Jack) Tianyi Cen was Cornell's second-best finisher with a
75-77—152, good for a tie for 38th place. Junior

Christopher Troy (T-63rd) were the Big Red's other entries in the tournament, which saw the first round pushed up to Friday and ultimately suspended due to inclement weather before completion Saturday.
