BRONX, N.Y. — After this weekend's cross country Ivy League Heptagonals, five Cornell runners — three men and two women — were named to All-Ivy League teams based on their finishes in Friday's races.
Senior
Ben Rainero was named to the First Team on the men's side, finishing the five mile race in 24:30.7 for fourth place in the field of Ivy runners. Senior
Brian Eimstad and sophomore
Dominic DeLuca were both named Second Team All-Ivy, crossing the line in eighth and 11
th, respectively.
On the women's side, sophomore
Taylor Spillane and senior
Caroline Kellner both earned Second Team All-Ivy honors. Spillane finished the 6K course 21:33.4 for 10
th place, while Kellner was right behind in 11
th at 21:38.0.
The men's cross country team finished fourth overall at Ivy Heps, while the women placed team sixth.
