ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell gymnastics team won all four individual and team events and cruised past Cortland 191.175-184.625 on Saturday afternoon at Teagle Gymnasium. Sophomore
Lyanda Dudley topped the field on three events and in the all-around to lead the Big Red to its first dual meet win of the year.
Cornell built on its week one team score by .35 thanks to its 48.225 on floor, with all five scorers hitting at least a 9.6.
Dudley tied with Cortland's Lily Szafrariski on vault with dual 9.675's and her 9.750 was good enough to win bars and her 9.700 topped floor. She ended the day with a 38.825 all-around score, just short of her career best of 39.000.
Sophomore
Kaitlin Green won beam with a 9.725 to round out Cornell's medalists.
The Big Red will visit Rutgers for a quad meet along with Michigan State and Ursinus on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m.
