ITHACA, N.Y. — This weekend's ECAC Hockey Championship quarterfinal series between the Cornell and Quinnipiac men's hockey teams will be broadcast through the several platforms of Eleven Sports USA.
For the fourth time in the last eight seasons, the Big Red and Bobcats will meet in the quarterfinals – with the last three series going the maximum three games. Game 1 is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, with Game 2 following at 7 p.m. Saturday. If necessary, Game 3 would be at 4 p.m. Sunday.
All contests of the best-of-three-game series at Lynah Rink will be streamed for free live on Eleven Prime (
https://www.twitch.tv/elevensportsprime), which is an around-the-clock digital outlet power by Twitch, a social video service with 15 million users worldwide. Additionally, the games will be streamed live on Eleven Sports'
Facebook page.
The Eleven Sports Network channel will broadcast each game on a tape delay. Game 1 is slated for 1 a.m. Saturday, Game 2 at midnight Sunday, and – if necessary – Game 3 would air at 10 p.m. Sunday.
Cornell is the top seed in this year's ECAC Hockey Championship playoffs after the program captured the Cleary Cup in late February while finishing the regular season with an overall record of 23-4-2. Quinnipiac (16-16-4) is the league's ninth seed, having defeated eighth-seeded Yale in a first-round series last weekend.
