Earlier in April, he was fourth at both The Met Intercollegiate and the Princeton Invitational, then he took second in the limited-field RTJ Individual Shootout. His scoring average of 75.21 (4.1-over par) led the team, and he also had a 10th-place finish at the Cornell Invitational. His best round of the season was his first, when he opened play at the Navy Fall Classic with a 2-under 69. All 17 of his rounds in team competition counted toward the team score.
