Biography

As a Freshman (2016-17)
Audet saw action in all 34 contests for the Big Red during her first season on East Hill, recording nine points on two goals and seven assists and finishing tied for a team-leading plus-minus rating of plus-9. She recorded a team single-game season-high four points on Jan. 10 with her four assist outing in Cornell’s 7-2 win over Syracuse. Audet also scored the Big Red’s first goal of the season on Oct. 21, taking the puck in the neutral zone and converting on a breakaway to even the score with Mercyhurst and spark the team to a season-opening 3-1 win over the non-conference rival.

Prior to Cornell
In 2014, Audet played for Canada’s U-18 squad that competed in a three-game series against the U.S. U-18 team. She was invited to the 2016 U-22 National Development Camp. The forward competed for Team Quebec during the 2015 Canada Games, contributing nine points on four goals and five assists on the way to a gold medal. She also helped Team North Quebec win the 2013 Esso Cup title and led the tournament in scoring.

Valérie Audet is the daughter of Steven Audet and Marie-Andrée Vallee, and she has two older brothers, Sébastian and Nicolas. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
