At Cornell
Sophomore (2012): West moved into a starting role with the Big Red during his sophomore season, playing in all 13 games and getting the nod in 11 contests. He finished the year with an 8-3 record and ranked second in the Ivy League and 11th in the country with an 8.29 goals-against average. West was also third in the conference with a .516 save percentage. He registered double-digit saves twice on the season, including a high of 13 in an 8-7 victory over Yale. 

Freshman (2011): West had a solid rookie season as the Big Red’s back-up goalie. He saw action in nine games, playing 150:55 and posting a 2-0 record. West finished the season with a 7.16 goals-against average and a .591 save percentage. He posted a season-high six saves in 15 minutes against Yale and was crucial in a pair of wins against Harvard and Princeton, coming on in relief and leading Cornell to the victories.

At Darien HS
A high school All-American, West was a three-time letter winner and led Darien high school to four state championships. He was named first-team All-FCIAC as a senior, after being a second-team selection as a sophomore. As a senior captain, he was named his team’s MVP and an FCIAC scholar athlete. West also lettered twice in football.

Personal
Arthur Andrew West is the son of Tim and Margot West and he has one younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
