Biography
• Team Captain (2018-19, 2019-20)
As a senior (2019-20)
• Served as team captain during her senior campaign, marking her second-straight year in this role.
• Finished 18th in both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions at the Ivy League Championships, cracking Cornell’s all-time top-10 list in each event.
• Her 3-meter point total (235.80) from the conference meet ranks seventh all-time in Big Red history, while her 1-meter point total (224.80) ranks eighth.
• Placed 13th in the 1-meter (217.95) and 3-meter (220.05) diving competitions at Akron’s Zippy Invitational.
• Recorded a pair of top-three finishes to help Cornell defeat St. Bonaventure, placing second in the 3-meter (241.10) and third in the 1-meter (246.40).
• Notched two top-five finishes in the Big Red’s victory over Binghamton, placing fourth in the 3-meter and fifth in the 1-meter.
As a junior (2018-19)
• Finished 20th in the 1-meter dive and 22nd in the 3-meter dive prelims at the Ivy League Championships.
• Runner-up in the 1-meter vs. Bryant.
• Finished fourth in the 1-meter and seventh in the 3-meter at the Bomber/Ithaca Winter Invitational.
• Placed third in the 3-meter against Bryant.
• Took fourth in the 1-meter vs. Yale and in the 3-meter at St. Bonaventure.
• Finished fifth in the 3-meter against Yale and Brown.
As a sophomore (2017-18)
• Ranked 20th at the Ivy League Championships in the 1-meter and 25th in the 3-meter competitions.
• Won the 3-meter in a dual meet triumph over St. Bonaventure.
• Took second in the 1-meter against both St. Bonaventure and Columbia.
• Posted a pair of top 10 finishes at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.
• Named the diving team's Hardest Worker at the postseason banquet.
As a freshman (2016-17)
• Brought home the team's Hardest Worker Award for divers.
• Scored in both diving events at the Ivy League championships.
• Showed great improvement throughout the season, culminating in making the championship lineup.
Prior to Cornell
• Leipman set school records in the 6- and 11-dive competitions at Brookline HS.
• She earned Bay State all-star honors as a senior.
• Placed third at the conference meet.
• Was a national AAU qualifier while competing for Boston Area Diving club team.
Personal
• Jessica Hannah Olessya Leipman is the daughter of John Roberge and Susan Leipman and has three older brother and two younger sisters.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
