As a senior (2020)
• Named an Inside Lacrosse Media All-American for the fourth time of his career, garnering second-team All-America accolades.
• Named to the Tewaaraton Final Watch List, as the season came to an abrupt end due to COVID-19.
• Elected team captain during his senior season, starting all five games for Cornell at attack.
• Led the Big Red in assists (15) and points (27) for the fourth-consecutive year while ranking third on the team in goals (12).
• Ended the season ranked seventh in all of Division I in assists per game (3.0) and 13th in points per game (5.40), both of which were third in the Ivy League.

• Finished the regular season as the highest scoring freshman in the nation, and was fourth overall in assists per game.
• Ranked first in the Ivy League in both points (5.54) and assists per game (3.00).
• Set the single-game freshman scoring record in just his fourth collegiate game when he registered 11 points vs. No. 13 Virginia on March 11 … Then broke the record with 12 points in a win over No. 13 Princeton.
• In addition to setting the school’s freshman point record, Teat finished the season ranked second all-time among Big Red freshman in goals (33) and assists (39).
• Led Cornell in all three offensive categories and finished the regular season ranked seventh in the Ivy League and 17th in the nation in goals per game (2.54).
• Teat's 5.54 points and 3.00 assists per game place him fifth in Cornell history for points and assists in a single season and are the highest averages ever by a rookie.
• Was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week three times, and took home Player of the Week honors as well on May 1, becoming the first Big Red player in 15 years to be named both the Ivy League Player and Rookie of the Week, matching a feat accomplished by Sean Greenhalgh on April 15, 2002.
Prior to Cornell
• An Under Armour All-America selection and a member of the Team Canada U19 squad
• Played for five seasons at The Hill Academy.
• Earned the team’s Lacrosse Award as a senior after winning the team’s MVP award as a junior.
• Was named the team’s Top Offensive Player as a sophomore and the junior varsity MVP as a freshman.
• Played four season with the Brampton Excelsiors of the Ontario Junior A League.
• In his final campaign in Junior A, finished the regular season as the leading scorer with 145 points on 56 goals and 89 assists (7.6 points per game).
• The 145 points was the most since John Grant Jr. registered 160 points in 1994.
• Won three major awards in 2015, taking home the Brampton John McCauley Memorial Award as the Junior A leading scorer, the Brampton Pete Anthony Memorial Award, as the league MVP, and the Brampton Brian Green Memorial Award as the playoffs MVP.
• Named an Ontario Junior A first-team all-star.
• Took home the 2014 Joey Nieuwendyk Award as the Rookie of the Year, as well as the Brampton Jim Clevely Memorial Award as the team Rookie of the Year.
• Was named the Brampton Brian Green Memorial Award as the playoff MVP.
• In his season in Midget A, was named to the 2013 Ontario Lacrosse All-Star Midget Team, won the Ontario Lacrosse Jimmy Thomson Memorial Award, as the Midget A MVP, and the Ontario Minor Field Lacrosse Stan Cockerton Award for demonstrating high proficiency and sportsmanship.
Personal
• Jeffrey Steven Teat is the son of Dan and Maria Teat and he has two younger brothers.
• Father, Dan, was a 14-year veteran of the National Lacrosse League, amassing 670 career points before serving as an assistant coach for the NLL Buffalo Bandits for three seasons.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
