Cornell Sports Medicine Staff

The athletic training staff is responsible for the health, safety and welfare of the intercollegiate student-athletes at Cornell University.

The staff provides on-site emergency (first aid, CPR) care of student-athletes during practices and competition, as well as injury evaluations, treatments and rehabilitation. Once an injured athlete has returned to the field, the staff continues to guide him/her through functional rehabilitation.

The athletic training staff is responsible for the implementation of medical policies and procedures in regards to Cornell's student-athletes. The staff serves as a liaison to the Student Health Services medical staff and psychological services and provides health education/promotion.

Athletic training facilities are located in Schoellkopf Hall, Bartels Hall and Lynah Rink.
