ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's and women's polo teams will host some of the top squads in the country this weekend for the William Field Invitational beginning on Wednesday at the Oxley Equestrian Center. The women kick off their schedule on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. against Skidmore, while the men also face Skidmore on Wednesday at 9:30 p.m.

Other teams in town on the men's side are Connecticut, Colorado State, Texas A&M and Virginia, while the women will also host Kentucky, Virginia, Connecticut and Texas A&M. There will be three matches each day from Wednesday-Saturday, and then the women's final on Sunday at 10 a.m., followed by the men's final at noon.

The women bring a perfect 6-0 record into the tournament and will face Kentucky on Saturday, as well as the opener against Skidmore. With two wins, it would advance to the championship on Sunday. The men are 5-1 entering the tournament and face Texas A&M on Friday evening after opening with Skidmore.
