ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell women's squash team split its first two matches of the 2009-10 season, picking up a 6-3 victory over Stanford on Friday night and dropping a 7-2 decision to Penn on Saturday at the Belkin International Squash Courts.

Shivangi Paranjpe was the lone double-winner for the Big Red on the two matches, scoring a 11-7,9-11,11-5,13-11 win on Friday and picking up a 11-6, 11-7, 11-6 victory on Saturday.
